This is a medium weight gi. If you are not sure whether you will keep practice Karate or not, this is a cheap gi to start with. Eventually you will go for a heavy gi in the future.It took a little longer than I liked to get here but I think it got here in the time they promised. It is a really nice gi for the price. The sizes on their website are different than other places that you can find them so be wary of that. The size I ordered was WAY too big for me but I called them and they sent me the right size for free. (I did have to pay to ship it back to them) Overall they were very professional and provided an excellent product. I recommend them.
